LIVMEDIA Supports NSW Small Business Month 2024 with “Biz Boost” Empower Your Business Webinar Series

LIVMEDIA is proud to serve as an Official Collaboration Partner for NSW Small Business Month 2024. This exciting partnership highlights LIVMEDIA’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of small businesses throughout the Hunter Valley.

As part of this collaboration, LIVMEDIA will host five webinars throughout October designed to provide practical, actionable insights to local SMEs. These online events will equip business owners with the tools they need to boost their businesses, all while encouraging community collaboration.

“Small businesses are the heartbeat of our local communities, and LIVMEDIA is proud to support them through NSW Small Business Month. Our aim is to provide meaningful, real-time solutions that small business owners can immediately apply to their operations,” said Lavinia Hutchison, Managing Director of LIVMEDIA. “We are committed to helping these businesses thrive, especially in regional areas including the Upper Hunter where collaboration and community support are essential.”

NSW Small Business Month, coordinated by the NSW Small Business Commission, is a month-long program designed to offer small businesses across the state access to a range of events tailored to their business needs. This initiative encourages owners to take a step back and focus on improving their businesses.

LIVMEDIA’s contribution to NSW Small Business Month, titled Biz Boost: Empower your Business will feature five webinars (October 16, 23, 25, 28 and 30). These sessions will cover key business topics, including:

  1. Keys to Collaboration – Lavinia Hutchison, LIVMEDIA
  2. Social Media Basics – Matilda Jones-Sinclair, Social Media Specialist
  3. Digitising and Streamlining Online Systems – James McTaggart, LIVMEDIA
  4. Community Engagement 101 – Ivan Skaines, Muswellbrook Shire Council
  5. Delving into Diversification – Claire Quigley, Launchpad9

Thanks to a generous sponsorship from AGL, session costs have been subsidised to $20 per business, with free access for community groups and not-for-profits. Businesses can book all five sessions directly, while community groups and not-for-profits should email sbm@livmedia.com.au to obtain their discount code.

“We’re grateful for AGL’s support, which allows us to make these sessions accessible and affordable,” said Lavinia. “This partnership will enable us to deliver relevant and timely content that fosters positive change for small businesses and community organisations alike.”

This collaboration underscores LIVMEDIA’s commitment to being a regional resource for community-centred communications.
